(1) Appearance
We can judge some quality problems by visual inspection, such as whether there are oil stains, color stains, wear marks, snags, linear defects, stripe defects, skipped stitches, etc. on the surface of the towel.
(2) Fixed edge
Each towel must be edged, some with ultrasonic trimming, some with sewing, and some with overlocking. We can judge with the naked eye whether the edge is well set and observe whether there is lint loss or threading off.
(3) Materials
The material composition of towels determines the characteristics and performance of towels. Common polyester to nylon composition ratios on the market include 90/10, 85/15, 80/20, 70/30, etc. Of course, there are also pure 100% polyester or nylon towels. The higher the nylon ratio, the better the water absorption performance.
(4) Gram weight
We need to know the weight of the towel to ensure that it meets the specifications so as not to suffer a loss. The gram weight here is divided into the gram weight per square meter of the fabric and the gram weight of a single towel. The gram weight of the fabric per square meter * towel length * towel width is the weight of a single towel. We measure the length and width of the towel, calculate the theoretical weight of a single towel based on the rated value per square meter, and then weigh the actual weight of the single towel. If the actual weight is less than the theoretical weight, it means cutting corners. The actual weight of the fabric Does not match the marked rated weight. In the towel industry, the weight per square meter of fabric is basically used to mark the weight of towels.
(5) Water absorption
The industry standard for car wash towels requires a water absorption rate of at least 4 times its own weight. For example, a 128g car wash towel can absorb at least 512ml of water. We first weigh a single towel, then prepare a measuring cup and tap water to measure and observe whether the water absorption is ≥ 4 times.
(6) Color fastness
We can use common car wash detergent on the market to soak the towel for half an hour, then take out the towel and observe the water condition. The dyeing process of ultrafine fiber car wash towels uses TF-215 and other dyes for ultrafine fiber materials. Its dye retardation, dye transfer, high temperature dispersion, and decolorization indicators all meet the strict standards for export to the international market, especially its The advantage of non-fading makes it completely free from the trouble of decolorization and contamination when cleaning the surface of items.
(7) Test report
Some very important physical properties of towels, such as breaking strength, bursting strength, hair removal rate, etc., cannot be observed with bare eyes. We need to use professional laboratory equipment to check whether they have passed the relevant tests of professional testing agencies.
