How to maintain pure cotton towel

Features of pure cotton towels:
1. Pure cotton towels have strong hygroscopicity and a large shrinkage rate, about 4~10%;
2. Pure cotton towels are alkali resistant and not acid resistant. Towels are extremely unstable to inorganic acids, even very dilute sulfuric acid can damage towels, but organic acids have a weak effect on towels and have almost no destructive effect. Pure cotton towels are more resistant to alkali. Generally, dilute alkali has no effect on towels at room temperature, but under the action of strong alkali, the strength of pure cotton towels will decrease.
3. Pure cotton towels have average light resistance and heat resistance. Pure cotton towels will be slowly oxidized in the sun and the atmosphere, reducing the strength of the towels. Long-term high-temperature action will damage pure cotton towels, but pure cotton towels can withstand short-term high-temperature treatment at 125-150 °C.
4. Microorganisms have a destructive effect on pure cotton towels, which is manifested in the fact that they are not resistant to mold.
5. Hygiene: Cotton fiber is a natural fiber, its main component is cellulose, and there are a small amount of waxy substances, nitrogenous substances and pectin. Pure cotton towels have been tested and practiced in many ways. Pure cotton towels have no irritation or negative effects in contact with the skin. Washing and maintenance of pure cotton towels:
1. Water temperature control
When washing pure cotton towels, try to avoid the water temperature being too high, and the best water temperature for washing is 30°C–35°C;

2.The use of detergent
Use a small amount of detergent to make the loops on the surface of the cotton towel more fluffy and soft. Avoid pouring the detergent directly on the cotton towel for cleaning. The residual detergent will make the towel hard. It is recommended to use a mild detergent;

When softening pure cotton towels, you should avoid using fabric softeners containing silicone resin. After using such softeners, a small amount of wax will remain on the towels, which will affect the water absorption performance of pure cotton towels;

3. Matters needing attention
Color-separated washing, especially light-colored pure cotton towels and dark-colored pure cotton towels, should be washed separately;
Separate washing, pure cotton towels are double-sided coil fabrics, and should be washed separately from clothing, especially clothes with metal hooks, metal zippers, buttons, etc.

4.bathrobe washing
Pure cotton bathrobes and pure cotton towels are washed separately, and bathrobes cannot be washed with drum-type laundry equipment;
Pure cotton bathrobes are heavy and bulky, so you cannot wash too many pieces at one time when washing;
During the washing process, put in the washing liquid first, add water to adjust, and then put in the pure cotton bathrobe;
