80% Polyester/20% Polyamide: This blend is most commonly used in automotive detailing due to its balance of softness, durability, and absorbency. It’s ideal for tasks such as paint correction, wax application, and drying.
70% Polyester/30% Polyamide: With a higher polyamide content, this blend is softer and more absorbent, making it suitable for delicate tasks like buffing or cleaning high-gloss surfaces. However, it may be less durable and more expensive. In the high-end automotive world, the premium in price is often justified and 70/30 blends are standard.
